CELEBRATE TWOS DAY WITH A FREE SCAVENGER HUNT

Twos Day is such a fun and simple way to celebrate learning in the classroom. Whether you recognize it on 2/2 or 2/22, it is the perfect opportunity to focus on the number two while keeping students engaged and excited. Twos Day activities do not need to be complicated to be meaningful, and a little movement can go a long way.

To help make planning easy, I created a free Twos Day Scavenger Hunt that gets students up, moving, and thinking about pairs. This activity encourages students to search around the classroom for items that come in twos or groups of two. As students find each item, they color the matching picture on their recording sheet, making it hands-on, interactive, and developmentally appropriate.

This freebie includes two different versions of the scavenger hunt. One version asks students to find two of each item, such as two shoes, two pencils, or two crayons. The second version focuses on items that naturally come in pairs, like mittens, binoculars, dice, or glasses. Having both options allows you to choose what works best for your students and your classroom space.

If you are looking for a low-prep, high-engagement way to celebrate Twos Day, this scavenger hunt is an easy addition to your plans. You can download the Twos Day Freebie for free using the link below and have it ready to use for your celebration.
